Arranging furniture can be daunting but with a little creativity, you can transform any room for the better.

I love to move my furniture around in my lounge – most of my pieces are freestanding although my room is small and having done this recently, it was a little like trying to work out a Rubik’s cube but I did it ……
Furniture can always be move back if it doesn’t work but try and you’ll be amazed at the difference this can make.
I don’t like sofa, chairs or even free-standing pieces pushed right up to the wall and touching…. I always leave a little room as I feel this creates space and leaves the wall space free of scratching or marking.
If carpet divots have formed where the legs of the pieces have been – Get an ice cube from the freezer and place on the divot – let it melt naturally and once completely melted, with a small stiff brush and gently work the pile up ad back in its place.
